Did you accidentally merge the wrong item, or realize that you can make a better merge with those items later? Great news! In many cases, you can spend some currency and choose to undo your latest merge.
How does it work?
- If you're unhappy with your latest merge, tap the Undo icon, to the left of the Removal tool in the bottom-left corner (shown in the image below):
- Tap to confirm that you'd like to undo the merge, for the price listed. You'll be shown the items you have currently (after merging) and the items that you will get after undoing the merge, as shown in the image below:
Are there limits to merges that can be reversed?
Yes. Merges of certain item types cannot be undone, like merges that create a new character, or a mansion (one of the 4 items that go onto a Castle base).
Taking other actions after a merge will also keep you from undoing that latest merge, in most cases. For example: merging again, opening a chest, performing a task with a Gnome, etc.
If you see that the Undo icon is no longer lit up, that will let you know that the latest merge cannot be undone.
Is there a time limit?
Yes. Once a merge is made, a timer will appear on the Undo icon (as shown in the screenshot above). Once this timer ends, the merge is unable to be reversed.
If you make another merge, the timer on the Undo icon will reset (as the timer now relates to this latest merge action).
Is it the same price to undo every merge?
The more valuable the pieces were that were merged, the more it costs to undo that action.
